Justin Weigel is the Artistic Director and Founder of TrailBlazing Productions, where he champions bold, boundary-pushing theatrical work. With roots in professional theater, Justin’s career spans Broadway, Off-Broadway, Chicago, Los Angeles, and London’s West End with shows like Be More Chill & The Secret Garden. A proud member of the Dramatists Guild, he has collaborated with industry icons including Tom Kitt, Randy Graff, Christopher Gattelli, Jerry Zucker, Warren Carlyle, Len Cariou, Joe Iconis, Lucy Simon, and Marsha Norman.
In 2020, Justin co-founded Saltbox TV, the first streaming platform designed for older adults. As Creative Producer, he led content curation, licensing, and original series development, working with A-list talent including Ed Asner, Henry Winkler, Kevin Bright, Jim Burrows, Treva Silverman, Lea Thompson, and Tommy Chong. He also secured Ed Asner as Saltbox’s inaugural spokesperson, marking his first professional writing credit in direct collaboration with the late legend. Saltbox is now available on Roku, Amazon Firestick, and in over 10,000 retirement communities nationwide.
Throughout his career, Justin has had the privilege of being mentored by and working alongside icons such as Edie Falco, Aida Turturro, Vicki Lawrence, Doc Severinsen, Didi Conn, Paul Schulze, Ethan Slater, Don Buchwald, Georgia Engel, Chris Sieber, Beth Fowler, Taylor Schilling, Tovah Feldshuh, Richard Kind, Annie Golden, Richard Schiff, Kelli O’Hara, and a wide range of respected creatives from the theater, film, and television industries.
At TrailBlazing Productions, Justin focuses on developing original work and supporting emerging talent, while continuing to collaborate with established artists. The company aims to tell fresh, compelling stories and create opportunities for voices that deserve to be heard.
Joe Landry is a playwright, graphic designer, and the creative director of TrailBlazing Productions. Joe’s creative designs include branding, projection design for numerous regional theatre and national theatrical organizations. His plays have been produced across the country and internationally and include It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (named one of the top-ten most produced plays by American Theatre Magazine). His other A Live Radio Play adaptations include Vintage Hitchcock, Meet Me in St. Louis, War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast, and A Christmas Carol, published through Playscripts/Broadway Licensing and Concord. Other plays include The Wicked Stage, Reefer Madness, Numb, and Hitchcocked!. He attended Playwrights Horizons and NYU.
Marisa Tache, the founder of MTT Casting, seamlessly melds her background as an actress and model with her passion for the entertainment industry into a thriving casting enterprise. Beginning her journey as a casting assistant with a prominent New York-based production company, Marisa honed her skills across commercials, reality TV, and social media promos. Noteworthy among her achievements is casting an IHOP commercial featured on the Food Network, orchestrating a captivating motion capture promo for CBS Sports, and recently spearheading the talent selection for a delectable baking competition show starring Duff Goldman on Food Network.
Erach Screwvala has over 20 years of experience as an Entertainment Lawyer and Producer. He’s worked on behalf of individual artists (including Jerry Bock and Martin Charnin), non-profit theater organizations (including Bedlam, Alley Theatre, Prince Music Theatre and The Children’s Theatre Company) and has represented producers of Broadway, Off-Broadway, and touring productions. Erach served as production counsel to Broadway’s Lost Treasures, a multi-volume PBS special celebrating the best performances from The Tony Awards. Broadway credits include: Elephant Man (starring Bradley Cooper); Moon for the Misbegotten; Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth (directed by Spike Lee); The Temptations & Four Tops on Broadway; Ruben & Clay’s Christmas Show; Home for the Holidays; American Buffalo. Off-Broadway: Shear Madness, Georgie: My Adventures With George Rose, Bedlam’s Hamlet & Saint Joan. Erach is the owner and founder of Screwvala LLC a law firm based in New York.
